Nine Countries in Two Months for Under £3,000

For my next trip, I decided I wanted to try more countries.

I flew from the UK to Istanbul, then on to Oman. From Oman I went to Dubai, then Bangladesh, and from Bangladesh to Malaysia and Singapore. Then it was on to Indonesia, from Indonesia to Vietnam, and from Vietnam to Thailand.

I was due to go back to China, but I had problems getting on the flight: they wouldn’t let me board. There was a misunderstanding about my visa. I didn’t need one, as I could go visa-free, but they still wouldn’t let me on, so I went back to Indonesia instead.

So I travelled to nine countries in two months, all for under about £3,000.

It opened my eyes even more to the possibilities of travel, and to doing it on a budget.
